It's been long awaited. I remember when the PRX came out we all wished for a 36-37mm automatic version. Then the 35mm quartz came out and we knew that if there was hope for a non-oversized automatic PRX that would've been in that 35mm case.
Now they will soon be available for the public, and the two confirmed colours are dark green and blue. I personally prefer "large" sports watches of this style, but large in classic terms means 37mm or so. Still, between the 35mm and the 40mm there is no comparison. I never considered the 40mm models but I may get one in 35mm as a daily beater, to use as a everyday watch in casual situations.
What do you guys think?
35 is a perfect size for a small wrist IMO
Iโve the 35mm quartz and I love it.
I donโt think
The size is fine btw
As much as I prefer smaller watches, I saw the 35mm quartz version sometime ago at one of the malls here in Dallas. That 35mm is TINY in person as apposed to the press photos. I was reluctant to try it on. I think the added bulk of the automatic movement as well as the textured dial may alleviate that issue & it may turn out to be something I add to the collection.
There is an ice blue like the new 40mm and a black dial version too in the lineup. Plus a black dial 35mm on a rubber strap.
It all depends on the wrist it's going on. My sweet spot is 39 . For me 35 is a little small.
They really nail the 70s flair. Love the green one ๐
35mm is perfect for smaller wrists because its integrated bracelet. Lug to lug is much bigger.
They need to release black version too! ๐ฅ
I have a pair of Tissot 33mm powermatic 80 watches I got on sale for under $200.00 USD that I love to wear but thankfully they don't have that integrated strap
I think it's a cool looking watch, so there's definitely a chance that I would get one eventually.
However, it's a bigger investment than the watch itself since the bracelet will likely be unusable due to the lack of microadjust and replacement options are limited.
A little small for my taste but Iโm glad they made it. Iโm hoping for a 37-38. But with 2 different sizes already I doubt theyโll do it.
When the 35mm automatic PRX comes out, many will sell their 35mm quartz for an upgrade, so if you are fine with quartz, this will be a great time to grab that piece!
Finally! I loved the design from the moment I first saw the PRX but the 40mm was just waaaaay too big for me and I personally don't care too much about quartz without some more interesting complications. The 35mm automatic might actually do the trick. (I still secretly wish for a no date version but I doubt that will ever happen.)
Too small for me, but I understand the appeal. It should be a great seller for Tissot.
Iโm hoping Tissot will stop rummaging through Gerald Gentaโs bins and focus on a new design this year. Itโs getting creepy now.
I'm for it. The case shape of the 40 makes it just slightly bigger than i would like, though I still like it. I feel like desirable watch models should always come with enough size variations to suit everyone
