Got the Call (just not the one you think)
After 2 years on the waitlist, I got the call (well email) for the Helm Vanuatu Ti.
Even though it took so long, I like these kinds of lists where you can see your place in line and it is pretty straightforward vs. the extra undefined hoops ADs for other brands put you through (e.g. I've been on the waitlist 3+ years for a Rolex GMT with my AD who is very friendly esp since I bought 2 other watches from him but don't think I'll ever get the call for that one).
I am a little conflicted because I was about to buy a field watch which I REALLY want. I would have bought it already (the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto) but got distracted at the last minute by the recent reissue of the Benrus 3061 Bullitt (which I decided to get because I'm an old Mustang guy so it hits all the right buttons).
However, I guess I have to put the Benrus on hold because even though both these watches are very affordable, I feel like I can't let the Helm go (don't want to go back on the list for 2 years) and I don't want to test my wife's patience and supportive nature with my watch hobby by buying two watches at the same time. Gotta space these purchases out a bit.

I am on the Helm list as well...I just bought a Marine Master 300 so hopefully that will tide me over until Helm emails me...I have 3800 ahead of me lol....

I was right behind you on the Vanuatu but I'm a bit farther behind you on the Miyako (currently #2749 so maybe 2 years after you). Again, I like being able to check where you are on the list though, to be honest, I forgot about the Vanuatu until I got the email. Nice surprise even if it derailed my plans to get the Benrus.
Looks nice. At least with this the waitlist is understandable. Nice watch.
New watch day is the best. It finally arrived. I had no idea how loud and clicky Ti bezels sounded. Still, bezel lines up perfectly and I love the watch.
