Timex waterbury review
Which watch do you buy if you don't want to spend a lot of money ? of course there is a lot of good answer but Timex is one of the best.
I recently bought this timex waterbury on the grey market for only 45 €. And I don't regret this new acquisition. here's why...
Yes it's a quartz watch but it's the only cons and in some way it's a pros because that is what explains the low price.
So ok the movement is not revolutionary but the rest is awesome : the applied gold indexes (numbers), the different textures on the dial, the simple but perfect hands, the signed crown and the brushed case. the case back is cool too.
That's a lot of good points for this little watch but she also has some bad points : the dial is too much dark and the moments when it appears less dark are very rare. the original bracelet is a poor quality leather strap with an all polished buckle which isn't match the brushed case.

You get a lot for you money with Timex, they're hard to resist
I remember finding the ornate old monogrammed second hand counterweight unfitting on some models, but it isn't even noticeable here. That logo works well on the crown, and I love how the crown and indices match.
Color matched date wheel for the win.

Good review! I’m a big fan of the Waterbury
Even with the most sophisticated watch collectors, they will always say, but there's just something about a Timex. Their old slogan was they take a licking and keep on ticking and their new one which is not as popular, is "We don't Stop". I like them both and with 70, 80 or more Timex in my collection, I most certainly agree. Great review!!
Great price for that one. The strap on the one timex I have isn't great either and there's some other issues, but it looks cool and tells time so it was worth it for me.

And the strap stills a very little issue because we can change it.
