Enjoying advice friends about their watch purchase.
Recently a friend who's not into watches ask me to help him to chose a new watch. Finaly he choose to buy a Tissot supersport chrono (quartz). It's a really nice watch for him and he likes it a lot.
I'm feeling a little bit proud because whithout my advice, he would probably bought one of these fashion watch. So I'm feeling usefull.
In the same way, I know that the day I will need to buy a car I will ask for advice to my friends because my knowledge is realy bad on this subject.
And you, do you help your friends or family with their watch purchases ?
If that is the case, which watch they had buying ?

Your English is better than my French, thanks to me having Latin (and not French) in High School. I'm very glad that you were able to help out your friend. I'm always nervous about recommendations, because tastes in watches are so varied.

that's right tastes are different. I generaly take the time to see what type of watches my friends like then I propose different watches. sometimes we found nothing or it takes longtime.
