Recommendations for a Field/Pilot Watch with Chronograph Movement

Hello Watch Crunchers.

I’m in the hunt for a field/pilot watch with a chronograph movement in the sub $2,500 range. I came across the Longines Avigation BigEye and have been quite impressed with the reviews so far.

Any owners of the BigEye care to share their experience? Any recommendations will also be highly appreciated.

Thank in advance

The Big Eye is a gorgeous watch and I don’t think you could go wrong there.

If you want something a little more ‘military’ these could also be worth considering.

Wow! These are great recommendations, thank you. Exactly what I’m looking for.

Have a look at the Mathey Tissot XX. They were one of the original producers of chronographs for the airforce. Great movement too with an ETA 510.
