How should I travel with watches without a watch box?

I’m going on a trip soon and I don’t have a watch box, so how can I keep my watches safe in my suitcase without a watch box?

Put them in your socks.

I just use a cheep and cheerful watch role or if your on a budget wrap It around some rolled socks and then put that in another sock.

I use a roll, but they come with me in the carry on. Rolls are inexpensive and easy to pack within clothes etc. The Mrs has used a jewellery roll for her gear for many years.

Bubble wrap is your friend

My rule, just two watches per trip , day watch , night watch, i keep the later in sox on board luggage.

Double wrist.

A dedicated watch roll or an extra eyeglass/sunglass case works

A watch case. After I serviced 3 watches, (I sent them in plastic bags with bubble wrap) they sent them back with some logo soft cases cases. I usually only bring 2-3 so I have enough of those cases. I’ve seen them for sale on Amazon.

Exactly what I do! I roll up one sock into a pillow, put my watch around the pillow case back facing up, and insert it into the other sock, and fold it up into a ball. Protects from shocks and scratches. If TSA or cleaning people happen to handle it.. they will never suspect.

All of the above suggestions will do the job. I bought a cheap but nice watch roll on Amazon for like $27. It works for my needs.

Just never, never put your watches in checked bags. Keep them in your hand luggage or backpack.

I always put them in a sock and placed them in a shoe that I packed that way they don’t move around too much

I would put each one inside a sock and put that inside the matching sock. Happy and safe travels!
