Happy International Women’s Day
Happy International Women’s Day! I have had the tremendous honor since I’ve started writing about watches to meet with some of the coolest and most inspiring women that own their own watch companies, and writing about them.
First up, my wonderful friend Betina, owner of Möels + Co. @moelandco on IG just shared the first “in the metal” pic of her new watch, the 369 TODAY, and will be up to order later this month. Betina is one of the most forward-thinking and talented designers in this industry, and was my first real friend in this community. My ride or die!
Next up is Nousseïma, the owner of Buci @buci.horlogerie on IG . Nousseïma might just be the most artistically inclined human I know. Writing, poetry, art, dance, acting…she does it all, and puts it into her watches. I’m so thankful for the day she reached out to me to discuss poetry and watches, because I’m continuously inspired by Nousseïma.
And finally, Abingdon, owner of Abingdon Co @theabingdonco on IG! Abingdon is human being that if she told me she was going to go surfing in a volcano, I’d believe her and she would become world champion of volcano surfing. She’s a pilot, a motorcycle enthusiast, and an all around badass who created a watch company just because she couldn’t find a watch that suited her.
