Latest Sold Out Mr Jones Watch - Berry Late

All 200 are sold, sorry. Note that they only let anyone buy a single one and hate resellers as much as you and I do.

Anyway, if one can't tell, this appears to be two clear printed disks in lieu of hour and minute hands on a standard quartz movement. MJW is up there with (I think) Xeric in finding ways to make oddball displays out of bog standard movements.

Also, it looks like they printed the clouds inside the crystal, which hides the axel. Anyway, it's clear that the whole strawberry aligns with half the text and the half-eaten one with the rest.

The genius of this is that the goofy phrase aligns (they say) every hour. It's not on the hour though, it's when hour and minute are 180 degrees opposed. So isn't that like ...(noon, 1:05...) every 65 minutes? It'll only happen 23 times a day (check my maths).

I already have an MJW StepRight Up! but superinfluencer and new queen of watch collecting personalities Kiran Chhabria has brought them to heightened attention with her plug on that Watchbox video, so now all the cool kids want one.

Did you get one, miss out, or don't care?

I had my eyes on Mr Jones for a while.. and all of a sudden their watches were all sold out, I did not know of Kiran Chhabria and the watchbox video.. I was wondering what the pump was all about! thanks for sharing.

I think their limited editions always sell out quickly. They are true limited editions and of course they are very affordable given their uniqueness. I was half kidding about Chhabria, but she's probably given them a huge bump is brand awareness.

as for the watch - just another brilliant idea by Mr Jones.

I don't really like the most recent design, but I am bummed that I missed out on this 2nd most recent limited run.
