Finally a basic field watch.

I have been looking for a affordable field watch. It's alot harder to find when you have some very specific requirements. I wanted 100m wr, over 40mm case, screwdown caseback, and I didn't want an overdone dial. Oh, I didn't want to spend over $300. I'm tough on my watches. I don't have anything that's there just to look pretty. I wear my watches no matter what I'm doing.(i.e. cutting grass, washing dishes, changing tires, cleaning the garage) That's alot harder to find. Timex expedition scout filled some. Hamilton filled most but price. Then Time Teller posted pics of the Timex titanium field watch. It was still a little high priced. Then while looking at that I found the expedition north field post 41. Same thing except titanium.

41mm case, 100m wr, sapphire crystal, solar power, steel case, screwdown crown and caseback, dial is basic field style. And only $170.

Love the idea of a durable solar from timex. It looks good, sturdy. Let us know how you feel about it a few months from now?
