If you want a modern, and authentic field watch go for one of these...

Re-Issue Stainless Steel GP Quartz with Date (GPQ) 39mm (Case/Crown) – Marathon Watch North America

They also make a no-date manual wind version, but the quartz is more in keeping with the idea of a practical, legible, and reliable watch AKA a field watch.

Marathon actually makes watches for militaries still, unlike some of the other brands that talk about military heritage.

If your taste runs more "classic", Vaer makes some interesting offerings at good prices, in both mechanical and quartz versions.

VAER | 10ATM, USA Assembled Field Watches - From $209– Vaer Watches

The Vaer A12 is about as close to a WWII "Dirty Dozen" field watch as one can buy, apart from the real deals.

For the real deal, it's hard to beat the Hamilton Khaki Field.

I've been scoping out this one for some time -- it's an homage to a British field watch from the late 60s:

For Dirty Dozen type watches, there's always this one:

AliExpress has some decent homages to the A-11 and Khaki Field mentioned above if you're on a stricter budget.

Right now, only the DLC case models are in stock, but the Islander Field watch is one of the best options in my opinion. I have the #ISL-43 and it is a great field watch; 39mm diameter, 100M WR, sapphire crystal, screw down crown, and a classic field watch dial, all for $199. Here is mine on a LIW EWB.

Here are links to the DLC models. They are higher price at $229.

I recently got this Bertucci Titanium Field watch and have been using it for the 1 watch challenge.

It’s lightweight comfortable easy to read with good lume. My one gripe is that you can’t take out the lug bars so you have to use NATOs, which I don’t mind too much, but it might be nice to have a little more flexibility especially if using it on the 1WC (actually this might be the only time it’s a problem for me 🤔.

There is only one (subjective) answer. Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical. Love mine. Would recommend 100%.

I reiterate what @R16013 says 100% I have the titanium version and love it

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!!👍
