The watch that got me into the watch world
I'd like to dedicate my first post to the watch that got me into the hobby — the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC911 Chronograph.
I randomly saw an ad for it online even though I haven't done any watch browsing, and something about it, which I can't put my finger on until now, just pulled me towards it. It happened to be Christmas season when I made the purchase so I also bought my brother a similar Seiko Prospex SSC817.
I have since made several other amateur watch enthusiast purchases, but this Seiko remains to be one of my favorites.

I love this watch. It is on my short list for sure.
It’s stunner for sure, the big win for me on this model is that they got rid of the gap on the clasp that plagues the first set of speedtimers. It’s perfect now 👌🏻
