My first Grand Seiko
My zenith wasn't getting much wrist time so I traded it for this brand new SBGA427 and I am awestruck.

No, but to be fair I didn't receive the watch from formex until months after the jump, so maybe Akio is yet to come 🤣.

This is a great size _ I have a 9F quartz at 39, which, feel perfect on me and a 40mm spring drive, which, feels a hair large ...I'm beginning to think this discontinued 39m case is perfect for me.

I was deciding between these two Soko models. I opted for the 427 as I have a lot of darker dial watches already, I love this one too though.

Absolutely agree. Mine doesn't have some of their fancier dial texture, but I still stare at it all the time. Incredible. I've heard some reviewers say that a watch of the same quality and finishing would easily cost 5 figures if it were from Switzerland and I'd have to agree.
