Why did Hans Wildorf name Tudor, Tudor

Hans Wildorf founded Rolex, because he was pondering for days on a name that would sound luxurious and easy to prounce in any language and he finally came with Rolex.

But Tudor, where did he get this name at?  And to be honest, Tudor doesn't sound nice or luxurious or anything... or maybe it's just me.
Sounds kind of weird actually TWO DOOR.

Anyone know why he decided with this name?

Exactly.  Royal House of Tudor. Hence the Tudor Rose on the crown.

Sexier than a four-door, since he didn't have kids, yet?

Because he thought they would school other watch brands?

I'll see myself out, thank you.
