Just yesterday I came across this Frederique Constant Carree which looks very elegant I think. It comes in at $1495.

Very nice! I really like the date being more inward on the dial like that instead of along the edge.
Beautiful watch, layering the dial like that so the marker doesn't overlap with the rest of the dial is very clean.
That's a very cool way of going about it, Vacheron also has watches with a retrograde date complication like that but seeing it in an affordable watch makes it even cooler.
