Yes, in fact, especially during colder weather. We've been grinding our own beans for years and every time I travel I visit a local roaster and pick up a speciality of theirs. One of the most memorable came from Costa Rica. It was smooth and strong, no bitterness. Unfortunately, I've not been back. Locally, I was a big fan of the Ethiopian Arabica beans from Costco. Again, no longer available. A good Kona blend is always a treat on a Sunday afternoon. Great - now I want a cup.

I think I'll be wearing whatever I was wearing when I became stranded...I'm hoping it will be my Glycine Combat Sub 46.

Um, I actually thought today was the 31st.

commented on Too many watches. Seriously. ·

I own a lot of watches (affordable in the context of the choices available). To prevent the delemma you describe I choose my watch the night before. I also put my outfit together. Frequently I will end up conflicted over two pieces so I set both up and choose in the morning. Part of the evening ritual is the prep - winding, setting the precise time, performing a quick polish, and placing the watches on the stand. As a result, I have a watch ready or, at most, two to choose from. We're all different, but this process brings me immense pleasure and removes all the stress of choosing a watch when I'm in a hurry in the morning.

I felt naked without one. (It might have been the two days in my briefs with an open back hospital gown.)

Thank you.
