Hamilton khaki field

Does anybody know if the Hamilton is planning of including a screw down crown in the near future in their khaki field models? They did it in the jazzmaster collection. I ve heard people complaining about fogging of their khaki field watches?

I would like to add a Ti khaki field to my collection if they could just add a screw down crown to make it a perfect field watch

I wear my khaki field for all kinds of outdoor activities, Hiking skiing etc never had an issue with it fogging up. I initially got it on a strap and later put it on a bracelet. If you get one get it on the bracelet.

Some of the none limited models do too. Mine does. But I imagine you're looking at the core line?

The hand wind models are 50 M and the autos are typically 100 M. But none of the core Khaki fields have a screw down crown. I own four different Khakis in different case materials; steel, bronze, titanium, auto, and mechanical, and wear them sparingly but never baby them when I do, and have never had an issue. That being said I wouldn’t go swimming with a watch that didn’t have a screw down crown regardless what the case rating is. Get wet, sure. Hike and go camping, sure. Dunk my hand into water to grab something, sure. Accidentally fall into water, no problem. But not go swimming. It’s not about the depth rating really, as few of us are going deep enough to worry, It’s more about locking that rubber seal into the case as tight as possible to not allow water to eventually work it’s way in.

So I forgot to say, go get yourself one of those Hamilton Khakis! They are a great value and fun to wear and collect with all the different dials, sizes, and even colors they have now. Enjoy it. It will not fog up on you. Just don’t swim in the pool for hours or jump in the ocean with it.

I have the khaki field and also wish it has a screw down crown (for peace of mind) 🤙
