What is your opinion on engraving on a watch.
Im planning on engraving a watch and possibly getting a pre engraved watch case for a gshock.
What is your guy’s opinion on watch engraving

I kinda want to get an engraved bezel and bracelet for my dw5600. After seeing a few metal squares IRL I'm sure the aftermarket mods aren't going to feel/look as nice, but I don't think I'll made if a aftermarket case isn't going after an "official" one. The one I was looking it as kinda of a mix of east Asian and Mesoamerican dragon type thing going one, which to me = cool.
I wouldn't want to "personalize" a watch, that's just how I feel about it. I see it as if it's ruining them. Nevertheless, I'm just a random person on the internet, if you want it - do it.

Why not? If the watch is part of my look, may be they represent something about me then why not to "personalize" them and send more my vibes to the outside 🙂 It can even make ordinary watches to an unique piece of art, but you need a good idea and good craftsman to implement it. Good luck 😉
It's only a g shock, I say do it. It can look good.
If the engraving had meaning to me, I would let a pro do it
