What would you wear your watch on for a nice occassion?

Let's say you're going out with someone special. Maybe dinner at a nice restaurant or going to see an opera or play. Let's also say that you have a watch that looks good on a variety of straps and its bracelet. Which would you wear your watch on? BTW, my favourite opera is Carmen though I do have a soft spot for Tosca.

I’d go leather, but bracelet is good too. Also, nobody notices my watches so I could probably just use a rubber band or string.

If you’re wearing a suit, wear a matching strap...unless you think it will lead to hot tub time…then keep it on the bracelet.

If a suit, leather. Otherwise on bracelet.

Dear God, not on NATO

I assume this would include a tasteful pantsuit ... me being female and all. :-)

The NATO option was mostly for laughs and to see if anyone would vote for it.

I would go for leather strap (suede or nubuck is my sweet candy cause it is more discreet), but a nice bracelet is good too, depending on what you wear I think (will you have long sleeves or naked arms ?)

nato.  Loud color, striped if possible, but I'm that guy.

My wife likes to point out that I frequently make my life harder by being so purposefully contrarian.  I disagree.  😎

Definitely sleeves, I'm looking at a couple of nice leather straps.

I just love bracelets too much, but also my style just works with bracelet. I think it depends highly on how you dress and what your style is. The last time I wore a tux (kind of) it was with my Explorer II Polar though (it looked awesome, of course) so I’m probably not the best for typical style advice.

Recently when I’ve gotten all dressed up, I put the Rolex GMT BLRO on with the jubilee bracelet and feel all fancy. 😂

If James Bond can wear a Seamaster with a tux, you can wear an Explorer II polar. :-)
