The 'click' has happened with the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date 36mm (with diamonds!)

I had one of those 'click' moments last week with a watch. I'd seen the Aquaracer Pro 300 36mm with diamonds online and thought it looked interesting. Then I found out my AD had one. I tried it on and something went 'click'. Then I found out it's a limited edition. My AD was said each store got one of these watches and once it's sold, that's it. I put it on lay-by so this one is mine.
My collection is very toolish with no bling. I'm not a very style oriented woman but I do like diamonds and a bit of bling. This watch will scratch that itch. In addition to the diamonds the hands and indicies are brightly polished. The dial is supposed to be blue but to me it's more teal but does look like the surface of a lake. There's a good bit going on with this dial but iin a good way. One nice touch is that the rubber strap has a folding clasp with a micro adjustment system. That's right, for about $3k US Tag Heuer makes a watch with a quick adjustment clasp. Omega and Grand Seiko, I'm looking at you. Take notes and raise your game.
I'm still looking at making a big purchase later in the year but I couldn't pass this one by. It's blingy and sporty and looks great on my wrist. I can't wait!

Omega's updated many models end of last year with the micro adjustment slider what they call "comfort setting clasp" and is available in their heritage 57' model, speedmaster, seamaster lineup already.

Yeah, lay-by is the same thing as lay-away in the States. I've got so long to pay it off. I largely did that so no one else could get it while I get the money together. :-)
