My new Bulova American Clipper
I was looking for something more sporty than a dress watch but not as utilitarian as a field watch, preferably with a blue dial, and at a price where I wouldn't be overly concerned about damaging it.
I stumbled across the Bulova American Clipper yesterday and it was what I was looking for. I really like the styling influence from Bulova's mid century Clipper watches.
It's 39mm x 12.6mm, runs a miyota movement with hacking and hand winding.
I did not care for the alligator style leather strap that it came with, so I am trying out other strap options. I think I might buy a dark blue leather strap for this watch.

It's a Miyota movement.... I just see Japan on the movement and don't know what specific movement it is, but it hand winds and hacks. I measure the lug to lug at 45.9.
I picked it up at Costco for $199. From what I can find, they were a Macy's exclusive in 2019 for $395.

It's been about 9 months and I'm happy to report I'm very happy with it. I ended up with a blue strap (shown) and I feel it's the best look for me
