Nodus Avalon ll Coral Yellow
I decided that my wife's generous offer of spending £1000-£1500 on a watch, as a present, was too much to spend. I didn't want her ending up in the debtor's jail. Instead, I got the Nodus Avalon ll. I have been after a yellow faced watch for a long time and this is just right for me. It is large but, as they say, 'wears much smaller.' The bracelet is impressive too. It was £625 from Watchgecko. 'Affordable', probably, for many on here but it is certainly one to consider - it is a beautiful watch. I am going to have a close relationship with this one. Now this one must be my last watch...fat chance of that, I suppose.
I collect affordable watches and if possible, ones with some history behind them. I like Vostok and have three of their's. I have a one-handed, Luch watch from Belarus and a beautiful, English, Elliot...
I'm not a fan of crowns at the 4 o'clock position, but otherwise thats a helluva nice looking watch. That date display is a perfect example of how date displays should be implemented.
I have the white dial version. It is really a wonderful watch. The finishing and attention to detail is amazing, especially at the price point.
