My new Swatch arrived today. The face is a slightly darker blue than I had imagined (darker than above) but it has a nice sunburst. As with the red one, a great, simple watch. Stainless steel, ETA movement, ultra thin, ultra light, just two hands, pleasant rubber strap, quirky look. My mantra has always been 'simplicity is genius' and I still stick by it.
If I do the cull, as mentioned elsewhere, this one, with it's red sister, will be a keeper.
I collect affordable watches and if possible, ones with some history behind them. I like Vostok and have three of their's. I have a one-handed, Luch watch from Belarus and a beautiful, English, Elliot...
Great value in those. Swiss quarts with at least 1 jewel and priced so you can afford a color variety for changing moods and situations. Or one expensive tiffany colored watch you can only wear with certain outfits and look good.
