A cool, bronze, Flieger homage from Steeldive. I reckon that Steeldive make some of the best homage watches out there. I love how the bronze patinates fairly quickly. The UK Steeldiver dealer, in Cardiff, is excellent and offers a wide range of interesting watches. I paid around £130 pounds for this.
I put a WatchGecko strap on this one which I think goes well with the bronze.
I collect affordable watches and if possible, ones with some history behind them. I like Vostok and have three of their's. I have a one-handed, Luch watch from Belarus and a beautiful, English, Elliot...
Agreed that Steeldive makes great homages. The strap is a good choice. I really enjoy watching the patina process take place over time.
Nice watch! Steeldive offers some great values. I have looked at getting one of these in the past. Don't they use cu-8 bronze for their bronze watches?

Sorry, Candide, I missed your message. I regret that I don't know what type of bronze Steeldive use. Given the overall quality of their watches, though, I would think it is pretty good!
I also have the Steeldive SD1970 "Turtle" Bronze Automatic 200m Diver Watch, which is another great watch.
