I don’t use the app yet either for the same reason. Hopefully soon.
I joined using the app. Didn't realise there were other sub-forums than the "Top/Latest" general one. On the Android app it seems like the only way to access the e.g. Swiss sub-forum is to click on search, topics (I think) and then into the sub-forum.
