First impression of Hamilton Murph 38mm

Hamilton listened and I kept my words.It was delivered to my office today , I couldn’t wait longer to unbox it . First impression - as a field watch very “odd” with the polished bezel but this is one of the main reason I purchased it and the “MURPH” movie . Then I was not happy with the cheap fake alligator strap ! I will keep you posted my feedback after I put it on my wrist . Have a great day everyone.

Hamilton straps require a significant break in time. They’re usually quite good, but take about 30 days of wear before they’re right.
BTW, I do love that watch!
I have an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date and this watch is very reminiscent of that watch, even down to the cathedral hands. Love the look.
Love this look… but that baby belongs on a nato or rough leather. Hopefully the strap breaks in well.

Thanks for passing by . This is not my first Hamilton with leather strap , but this one is extremely discomfort with that price . Hamilton listened but not well enough. Hope it will break well soon .

100% agree , the leather strap is discomfort to me and I have to change it after day one . like you says need time to break well ( hopefully) . New look with nato strap .

If it could be the same dusty blue as their Intra-Matic chrono and with a brown strap then I am all in 👍🏻 (not instead of the Murph but as an addition)
