Anyone have experience with Detomaso Watches?

Long story short, my wife likes their "Armonia Tiffany" watch, so while it was a little pricy for what you get, I decided to pull the trigger and get it for her.

Since receiving the confirmation, I've yet to receive the tracking number, the watch hasn't arrived in the promised window, and their Customer Service isn't responding to my emails. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a scam.

Does anyone have experience with Detomaso Watches? I'm just unsure of how to proceed.

Their not a scam. It takes awhile for them to ship. Have had problems with strap orders with them. I own one of their models the Red Saprasso Chrono. Good spec and was on sale. They're owned by Zietgeist Watch group. German company. Their office is in PA. Probably ships from Germany lol

Cheers!

Last I saw, the watch we ordered is now showing as on back-order until May. I'm wondering if they even have it in stock, or this is the explanation for why I haven't heard anything yet.

Not super impressed by their Customer service so far, but it's nice to hear that people do eventually get their products. I'm not willing to wait until May, however.

Cancel it. I just bought that one watch from them. It caught my eye. You have to be happy!

Good luck!

i had the Detomaso Viaggio for a while and it was ok for the price. i bought it when it was on sale like they are now. They we're shipping from Germany and it took a few days. The watch than suddenly arrived without getting a shipping information.

Okay, the lack of shipping information is good to know, because they aren't responding to any emails and I was about to see about a Visa charge-back.

If the watch is in the mail, I don't want to do anything malicious, but at this point I can't even get confirmation that they shipped it.

Guess I'll phone today as a last attempt before contacting Visa.

Well, the watch I ordered on Jan 20th just arrived today on Feb 7th using their "Free 3-Day Shipping" within Canada.

It only required 6 emails with no response, 2 phone calls to their customer service line (which is 5 seconds of pre-recorded German followed by hanging up on me), and filing a Visa dispute before they would even respond to me.

Once the Visa dispute was in, within 24 hours I had an email response and the item was shipped via FedEx. So they won't ship the watch or respond to me, but once Visa is involved, all of a sudden things move very fast.

The watch box (cardboard, but decent looking) was flying around loose inside an oversized cardboard box with one single piece of brown packing paper not doing anything helpful. Somehow nothing was damaged.

My wife is very pleased with the watch, so I guess that's a plus. But I'm still not 100% sure that this company isn't just a gigantic scam that only sends out watches when they feel like it.
