Whoohoo! We landed with my wife sporting her birth year Seiko 2517. One of the first uses of a red bezel on any Seiko diver. So excited to make new memories.

What is the full reference on that? A color my wife doesn't have...hmm

I boned up the reference! It's actually a Seiko Matic Lady 2517 3270. It made the cover of the Seiko Fall 1968 catalog. They can be pricey so shop wisely and Happy Hunting.
Anyone got any ideas on what model this is? Someone said it looks like a Mumbai Special. I hope to goodness it isn't a fake...I sent a picture to Oris to see what THEY say
Still found time even with a brand new bundle?! Commitment to the cause.
Ohh man you know it. My wife knows itโs the one time a year I go to a show, and it means a lot. This year was different (I had a 3 hour window) since I didnโt get quality time at every booth. Looking forward to next year already!
Were you here today or back on Friday? The show was so much bigger than in the past, Iโll definitely need to spend two days to really get deeper dives. Friday and Sunday, since Sunday was nice and open today to visit booths.
Quite the eventful day! We hit Fort Mason, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39
and the Swatch Boutique but only after having an ugly encounter in Union Square with a crazy homeless dude who wouldn't take no for an answer. I just kept my cool and let the cops handle it because they were right there. My wife wouldn't let me pop him anyway and tbh I'm glad I didn't. We then spent a few more hours at WindUp chasing the horology dragon before Happy Hour at the Matador (highly recommend!) where we got a private tour of the Mezcal bar upstairs from the owner who personally made us
Mezcal margaritas!
It was great running into you (repeatedly!) and seeing your new acquisitions. Hope our paths cross again!

Just Friday for me. Looking forward to next year as well. Glad the wife is supportive.

@TheSharperTheBetter is defacto Bay Area host. I was at the inaugural Bay Area Meet up last Sept? Oct 2022. Then there was a coffee, cars & watches Meet Up in Palo Alto, and SF Windup will hopefully be an annual meetup.
I was distracted by the Warrior's game Friday night and Sunday, but it was still good fun to meet up with the crew. Plan the meetup and I'll be there ๐

Hah! Defacto host?! It's a team effort, I just try to agree with everyone. Cars, Coffee, Chronos was @Rome1234 idea (whom we missed this weekend, hope you're alright), and Max and I literally contacted each other the exact same time about post Windup meetup.

I do agree @TheSharperTheBetter is the SF NorCal Defacto to host! Whenโs the next one!!! Lol

Thanks, Max. I'm leaving early in the morning, with my Farer as my only luggage (one day round-trip)!

Haters are gonna hate but I've spent more on a bottle of Scotch. Do you!
Glad to see you guys went to the Swatch Store.

HAH! That was the pic on my Instagram of the video and I showed my wife. She said, โOh honey, they done you wrong.โ
Now I look like every other YouTuberโs thumbnail picture ๐ฎ
