Watch brands VS. car brands

I feel like the venn diagram of car guys and watch guys (and gals) overlap quite a bit. So my brain can't help but see the parallel between these 2 categories.

For example, Journe and Pagani. Both small independent brands headed by visionary craftsmen with innovative ideas and uncompromising philosophy.

What other pairs do you guys see here?

I thought about this comparison during a few bike rides and here's what I came up with based on the number of said car I see in the wild:

Rolex~Mercedes

Omega~BMW

Tudor~Audi

Jaeger LeCoultre~Aston Martin

Seiko~Honda

Grand Seiko~Acura

Blancpain~Maserati

Richard Mille~Bugatti

Patek Philippe~Ferrari

Vacheron Constantin~Bentley

Audemars Piguet~Tesla

IWC~Alfa Romeo

Citizen~Toyota

Zenith~Lotus

Hublot~Cadillac

Orient~Mazda

Sinn~Range Rover

A Lange & Sohne~Rolls Royce

I know a lot of them don't really make sense but  this was when I was  first getting into watches and learning about the brands.

Brilliant!  One minor change:  Rolex - Audi, Tudor - Volkswagen :)

Wow you really do some deep thinking on your rides!

Someone also mentioned Oris = Volvo, which I thought was pretty on point 😁

I swear I didn't hear Brandon's responses before posting 😂

Haha, it seems all cyclists think alike 😆

Damn...solid list sir! The only one I cant match is A Lange & Sohne--- Until they invent a flying car that runs on pure air and is self driving while it does my laundry...A Lange & Sohne is too special to compare (to me).

As someone who bought a ChronOris especially for road trips in his Volvo, I approve of this association! 🤓
