175.0032 (from 1991). Not the most easy to read sub dials but I like the low contrast panda. Seen it been called albino panda.

How are you liking the chronoscope?

How are you liking the chronoscope?

Love it.  It's got the whole Speedmaster design language, and yet... clearly isn't a traditional Speedmaster.  You look at the entire modern line, and the Chronoscope sticks out like a weird, mutated, third, sore thumb.

Somehow, the multiple scales on the dial and the applied Portugieser-esque numerals seem to give it a 1940's vibe.  Then, you throw in the 28,800 vph and the column wheel in the Caliber 9908, with a thickness of only 12.8mm, and the micro-adjust in the clasp, and that's what sold me on the watch.

Thats some amazing spec, keeping a thinner profile on chronograph is always a welcoming sight.

That model appears to be pretty tough to find. When I searched from Omega 175.0032 I wasn't able to find any that had the silver color subdials - the closest was a two tone model with gold pushers and gold colored subdials. Most of the others were the standard black dial, or white with white subdials.

It's a great looking watch BTW.

Thanks! They are a bit rarer, but I seen them turn up from time to time on Chrono24.

Love the Chronoscope!  I think it’s begging to get dressed up and put on a vintage leather strap to bring more attention to the dial and the lyre lugs.

Love the 1940s look. I think this release confused a lot of people who are not familiar with vintage watches. But good on omega for not just another speedy SE. Also like the color combo you went with!

You know what?  That's a fantastic idea.  I'm gonna go get me a 21mm leather strap today, based on that suggestion!

That's a great idea. I really like most Omega bracelets, but I find that most Speedmasters go great with a strap. I usually wear my Speedmaster 57 on this alligator strap from Aaron Bespoke. I think it really suits the watch, and agree that the Chronoscope would look awesome paired with the right strap.

Yeah, they took a 40s style dial and put it in a 60s style case so it takes a little getting used to the look, but as soon as you do, it looks so elegant.

I’m a bit late to the party but here’s my Speedy!

It’s a 3861 I just got as a gift. As a space buff, this always was my dream watch and it’s all I hoped for, and then more!

Haha, thanks! That HHKB is a pleasure to work on! 😁

A speedy is the next watch on my list. I really hope Omega releases a stainless steel 3861 broad arrow, because damn @Max that is one pretty watch

I am also considering putting the new 3861 bracelet on my 1957 reissue. Although I do not love the 1957 bracelet, it is tolerable and not too bad. The fit and taper on the 3861 bracelet looks awesome. I am having a hard time justifying the approx. cost $700. For those of you that have made the move to the 3861 bracelet - what has your reaction been to the new bracelet? Range from moderate satisfaction to best thing ever?
