Hi all,
out of curiosity, which Seiko would you buy if you wanted to add a unique one to your collection?
Budget friendly option: Cocktail time
Sharp edge for me.
Seiko Prospex"Alpinist" Compass Green Dial
I bought a mini Tuna
Vintage bullhead
I chose the Seiko LX SNR045. A premium Prospex diver and from a limited edition run of only 500 pieces.
There are several other special Seikos that I'd love to add to my collection some day. These include:
The SLA042 "Emperor Tuna"
The SBEC005 50th Anniversary Panda Chronograph
The SLA057 1968 Diver reinterpretation
And the SJE083 King Seiko reissue
I would splurge for something fancy like this understated SNR037 with enamel dial and a 5R Spring Drive 😍
Manta Ray turtle
I think Seiko has the most unique Pilot watches worth checking out aside from the flighty.
Starting with the Seiko 5
Seiko Prospex
Seiko Spring Drive
JDM
Vintage King Seiko
Great ideas! Thanks All! really helps me to see all the styles!
Only one Seiko? It’s not easy! 😬
Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar chronograph
Seiko GMT
Seiko Arnie
But… Seiko Laurel is fantastic!
I probably wouldn't be seeking out any 'unique' models right now, and I don't usually buy quartz. But if I did, it would have to be either:
Seiko Avenue 8M26-7040 - I wanted to buy this at some point but I just can't find a legitimate source to buy it from:
or
Seiko Metronome SMW006A - another novelty, but the fact is that it's unique:
