Heart Broken!
Woke up and went to look to see which watch to wear…..and looks like dead battery! 😭
Sad….I just bought it at Walmart 4 months ago.

I’ve replaced batteries in my G-Shocks before, but have never been able to restore the water-resistance seals. Lost two after this. Since then, I have only purchased Tough Solar versions.
I would return it. Battery should last 7+ years in a G-shock. Might be something else wrong with it.

Put a little grease on the o-ring. I recently replaced a battery in my son’s G-shock. Cleaned and greased the seal and he went diving with it a few weeks later. I was surprised it survived.
Amazon for the win... At least you get to open it up and put a battery in it yourself.

Can I ask what kind of grease you used? I have to change the battery in a Casio.
