When I bought this watch I was looking for an everyday nice looking watch, and what I look for in every watch purchase is something different from the rest of my collection. This Seiko was the first time that I purchased I watch fully online without checking it out in person first, which was a little worrying but man am I happy I did that. When you take my requirements into question this watch nails it: it is a very nice looking chronograph that could not be considered a dress watch but is something that works very well with everything I’ve tried it with, and the white dial with blue accents is very different from my mostly dark faced watches.
However, just meeting those few requirements I’ve named here would not be enough to make me recommend it. This watch looks and feels amazing. I actually really liked the metal bracelet that came with the watch but I had a similar steel bracelet on my g-steel and I’ve been wanting to have a watch with a NATO strap and this seende the perfect opportunity for that, but here’s a picture of the watch with it’s original bracelet
The watch is easy to read and at a cost of £240 the value for money is very high. The one thing I question about this piece is it’s claim of being a limited edition. I bought this watch a year after the anniversary it’s celebrating and can still find this watch new on several sites brand new. I realise that they will not be making more of these, but you can source these very easily. Despite that this watch is great. At that price you might expect a saphire crystal and possibly a mechanical movement, but I just don’t care this watch looks that good.
