Addiesdive Automatic

This little beauty arrived today and I'm very happy with it. I wanted a very inexpensive diver that I can wear for the pool and sea when I'm on holiday.

I find that Addiesdive really makes some very nice bargain models. The quality for the price is amazing. The crystal, the case, the dial, the hands all look and feel well made. I‘ve just ordered their new model AD2030 in blue. I will post here when it arrives.

I'm very pleased with the quality to be honest and it wears really well. It's getting more comments that some of my more luxury watches.

I bought the MY-H8 earlier this year, because I was building custom Capt. Willards to sell on eBay, but totally missed them when they were gone. The Addiesdive model is shockingly good for the $79 base price I paid, and the rubber waffle strap I opted for is decent, though a little thin in comparison to others I bought. I simply cannot assemble a better Capt. Willard mod for that price.

Ordered one this week with the Chi-Ali. Wondering if it’s worth exchanging the dial. What dial to buy? And the bezel insert. I’m a fan of the Fifthy Fathoms insert. What bracelet? Super Engineers? Or an Olongapo? Visiting Philippines 🇵🇭 in January. Don’t want stolen valor.
