Yay Christmas!
The wife hit a home run for Christmas. Modern take on the WW II A-11 watch used by pilots and some soldiers too. Bulova was one of the manufacturers actually making the A-11 so they definitely got the history and the cred. Cool military style engraving on the back. But it’s devilishly hard to photograph since the polish is so high.

I love the look of Bulova’s reissued military watches. I am looking at either the A-11 or A-15 as the next purchase. The other one i think they have nailed the look of is their new GMT.

I bought the Seiko 5 gmt early on. I had a tinge of buyer’s remorse when Bulova released that GMT. It is a great looking watch and a true GMT to boot.
