Yes they were made around the time of the 1994 Olympics for dignitaries (ioc members etc.)

Are you due for a Lange next or is the style not for you?
Interesting result. I wonder if this result would be different on another watch site. I'm new to watch crunch and it seems to skew less high end (not a judgement at all!). I appreciate the authenticity here so far and the frank discussions. I would've assumed the broader market would vote for AP, PP, VC, then ALS in that order. Mine is ALS, VC, PP, AP. I'll answer in pics as well.. time zone and just put in an order for the rose gold datograph gen 2 before the CRAZY price increase.

Love them - but slightly older refs a better size for me. Eg this 34 Saxonia with blue dial and big date.

I put PP and ALS on a similar plane. I own three of each and there is just something more special about the Langes
I voted for #alangeandsohne because as much as I love #patekphilippe and the historical significance of the brand, Lange is on another level when it comes to Haute Horology, true high end finishing and engineering for the watch lovers who absolutely nerd out on the fine details that I think only Lange can offer
