Omega Agua Terra GMT on Perlon

It’s all about the bands, not as much about having a unique piece, which a band helps with, but more so integrating something that works, its more comfortable than the original and makes sense with the design-functionality originaly intended. The dial resembles the deck of a yacht, maybe more of a sailboat then a powerboat, the braided nylon it’s also used for sailboat ropes and others. It fits like a glove and for me that’s what it’s all about when changing the original band on a watch.

I want to like perlon straps. I really do. I'm just yet to come across one that doesn't feel cheap and nasty. It's there somewhere or a brand that supply/make quality perlon straps?

·

The watch is already amazing but this combo is something else. Very impressive!

·

That is a great strap, would it be possible to find out where you sourced it?

Agreed, bands can take a middle of the road watch to a whole new aesthetic. It is amazing to me how subtle the difference can be, but still have such an impact.

Similar to this, I love the look of perlon straps but I've never pulled the trigger on one as I can imagine them getting stretched and scruffy very quickly with regular use. It does look fantastic with that AT though.

Great watch and very nice strap. It always depends where do you take your watch most. I believe you can have 3 straps - daily wear, diving/summer (textile or rubber), dress (leather strap).

What a stunning combo, its hot 🔥

If you buy the ones made in Germany they are top quality and absolutely resistant, waterproof too

I got a little bit tired of going back-and-forth to my local watch repair guy, so I scratched a lot and many Of my own time pieces learning how to exchange bands and replacing buckles with deployment parts. Sometimes after many attempts I get the time piece to be perfect for me

Very nice!!  Seeing this makes me want to explore the world of perlon.  I was on a NATO kick for a long time, and to this day love my Speedy on a Bond NATO.  To your point, I've heard the perlons are so comfy.

Ok, when my wife says "you bought ANOTHER strap?"....I'm just pointing to this pic.  What could she say??   :)

Cheers!

I tried to recall where I bought it from, I had it for sometime, but it’s German, the Germans make the best pelon, google German Perlon watch band see what comes up. If I find the supplier I will let you know

Can you please tell us the brand of the strap and/or where to order it? You keep saying Germany but that's not very clear at all.

I’m sorry I did not include the details where I bought the strap because I don’t remember! I have so many of them. Usually I search the web for specific words like “Perlon German made black”. Sorry I couldn’t help you further with this one.
