Mr. Bruce Shawkey was kind enough to read and review my latest book.

Bruce is the recipient of the NAWCC James W. Gibbs Award for Horological Literary Excellence.

Looks like I did a pretty good job!

My latest is about the TRUE origins of waterproof wristwatch technology.

Specifically, how this technology was developed by Charles Depollier in cooperation with the U.S. Army Engineering & Research Division 1918, including the watertight screwdown crown.

All of this happened 8 YEARS before Rolex introduced the 1926 Oyster.

Sorry Hans Wilsdorf, but your whopper of a story has been exposed!

History has been corrected!

Depollier WAS a genius, with a foresight that many lacked.

Looks like a great book Stan.
