New Signum Cuda GMT NH34 Automatic Full Lume Collection

Hi Everyone!

Some of you may know me as the owner of Straton and Signum Watch Co :) Just a heads up I recently launched my latest watch the Signum Cuda Titanium GMT NH34 Full Lume collection. They come in 4 different full lume color dials as well as two ceramic bezel colors to choose from. I have only made 100 total to gauge interest before making more, in 2 days just over half have sold so there are some left. They are 42.5mm Gr.2 Titanium case with scratch and hardening coating, I plan to make a smaller version of the Cuda at a later date.

The original three hand full lume version did win Jodys last Lume Wars episode by quite a margin and he said its the best lume he has seen on any watch since starting his channel, an achievement I am proud of as it was the sole goal of creating this line was to win Lume Wars and be a force to be reconned with when lume is mentioned.

If you want to check them out here is the link to see more pictures and specs - https://www.signumwatches.com/products/signum-cuda-titanium-gmt-full-lume-collection

Have a great week further!

Regards,

Kyle

Hey Kyle!  Saw the Jody vids and my interest grew in your watches.  Sadly interest rate hell is currently killing all my watch purchases now.

Wondering - how do your watches beat handily ones costing several times more?  Both using superluminova - is it purely related to volume applied?  Is there varying application techniques that matter?  Would love an explainer on lume.

I’m a big lume and Ti fan so hope to see your watch in person soon 👍

oh - and why 2 company names 🤔

Hi! Thanks for the comment :)

Its down to volume and also concentration of lume applied. Superluminova is not cheap, other manufacturers either say they use it and use something of lesser quality or they mix it with lesser quality lume.

Two company names as Straton is a brand focused more on retro styled watches, a passion of mine as I collect 70’s chronographs and Signum is more focused on unique dial materials, so makes sense having two brands focusing in two niches 🙏

Thanks for the explanation Kyle! Very concise. It seems to be something manufacturers cheap out on. Some exceptions are old Seiko 5s and Orient Kamasus. It  really is a very practical feature on any watch. Well done!
