I wanted to give my 36mm Stowa Marine Chronometer a bit more casual and sport/tool aesthetic with this DiModell strap from Germany. Helps that it is waterproof leather, too.
Additionally, for the occasional visual change, I wanted to make it look less delicate and beef up the appearance slightly. The strap's flared out ends match up and follow the case and lugs perfectly. I think it substantially adds just enough to the overall package in this configuration.
The 18mm strap now looks closer to 23-24mm at the flared out portion, but still tapers down to around 18mm at the clasp. I like the fold over lug ends and double layered appearance, nicely constructed and held together with an off-white contrast stitching.
