Rhetorical question, but, should there be a max # of rebuys?

Not going to get into why, but, this makes Sinn 104 St Sa I White Dial #3 for me.. no, I don't have 3 of the same watch.. just recently rebought a 3rd time. Seriously, it will be a keeper this time. The standard black Arabic numerals dial version has always been an equally strong consideration. However, I just really like this particular color with the white dial, maybe ever so much more, so I went back to it.

And, finally, it's keeping excellent time. Not that the previous one was bad at about +6 s/d. But, the very first was the worst at about -20to25 s/d. But, this one, now, has been on the wrist straight since about 00:00 Thursday 1/12/2023 till the date and time of this posting and has 0 s/d deviation. EXCELLENT 👌!

It's been raining pretty crazy around my parts in  NorCal Bay Area and got it off the stock leather strap and onto a more appropriate grey tropic style strap from Barton to battle in the rain.. which I work outdoors all day till night.

Let’s hope not, as I’m a chronic re-buyer. “Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone?”

Stay safe and dry! I used to work 12+ hour days outdoors; no joke in dangerous weathe.

This Sinn 104 certainly isn't the only multi-rebuys in my watch collective history.

Thanks. I pretty much spend 11-12 hours outdoors working 6 days a week.

I have the black indices version and love the white dial version more than the black . I always say to myself… damn I like my watch but I still like the white dial more . Cheers 🍻

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but at some point don't learn from all this?  Like maybe give yourself more time before deciding to sell something, or take more time before rebuying it?  I only mention this because, and it's none of my business really, but aren't you wasting a ton of money?  I assume you can't be selling for more than you paid, then buying it back cheaper again.  I just keep thinking of the other watches you could be buying with the extra money you spend on buying a watch several times.

You're probably right. But, then again I don't ever approach my watch collecting rationally. It's all feel and likes. It'll take whatever it takes to make things feel right and at home in my collection.

I avoid re-buying by not selling unless I know for sure that I do not want the watch. Right now I have 4-5 watches I could easily justify selling, but I don't as I do still wear them on occasion, and I still like them.

If you rebuy more than once, you need to seek Counseling.

To-date I have no re buys. Possibly will in the future if I get another Seamaster though it will be a different colour to the blue one I got in 2002
