I used to be a buy a watch with the ONE strap option and that'll be it forever. I never wanted to fuss with strap changes. However, I had sold nearly everything, took a break from watches for what seemed like quite a number of years, and when I came back to the hobby, amongst a variety of changes around my approach and thoughts about watches, one of them has to be opening up to the possibilities of strap changing options. As such, this example and the strap change I made today is by no means my one and only. But, it is what I have today and probably the next few days.

One of the best watches I currently own, the Fortis Flieger F-39 is such a solid pilot watch with very much it's own design flare. First time I have it off it's excellent bracelet, I've paired it with an Erika's Original MN strap in Black Ops with Hot Orange center stripe. Yes, there are 2 oranges for the center stripe and this is the, well.. hotter one, as the name suggests. Just a little more intense and brighter than the other orange Erika offers. And, that hit orange matches quite perfectly with the Fortis's Berlac Fluor Orange accents. I customized it with a choice of white contrast stitching which also seems suitably matched with this watch.

I've always loved that watch and with that strap combo I love it even more. That looks the business  🥰👏🏻

I bought 5 straps for my Bertucci pvd field titanium and I hate four of them. I am an idiot. 😂
