Depthmaster dimensions for a 1000m WR watch is head scratching.
On the secondary brown leather strap option that is included with the Nivada Grenchen x Revolution & The Rake Depthmaster "No Barracuda" Limited Edition. I still find it pretty amazing this relatively compact diver can achieve 1000m seemingly effortlessly. 39mm case with a 12.6mm thickness + He escape valve.
I'm sort of glad they didn't throw in an obvious black leather strap. However, I think it may have been a little better if they had used a more subtle of white double stitch or just black thread for them.
But, having worn it for a bit, I think it looks and wears fine as is. I do have other strap options to try later which should compliment the watch pretty well.

I've always wondered if any brands just give a number for depth and assume no one will test it (we won't). Unless a brand is iso certified it's probably a dice roll, or not, how do we know? The only thing that makes me wonder is, that established brands with 500m and up on the dial are usually thiccc.

Motorcycle helmets are a case in point . It can be expensive but unless it’s crash standard is Australian Standard , I wouldn’t even touch it , for example the Bell Eliminator would be my pick .
