Spring Drive 5 Days Diver's 200m SLGA015

This is another masterpiece, I will need to save up for this immediately. Hook, line, sinker -  I can't wait to see this one in person.

I've always wanted something to compete with the submariner. I'm personally a big fan of the sub, but the hype culture around it is a big turn off. As I cross shopped for another diver, I just never had anything else speak to me.

The closest for me was probably a BB58, or pelagos LHD, but it fills a different hole.

This new black current sub is both dressy and has the beloved spring drive. Bonus is they kept the power reserve on the front (makes sense since it's a solid caseback)! They definitely knew what they were doing and has a good pulse on the ppl's wants.

The only thing is how the titanium feels. I feel like I will miss the cold heft of steel.

Oh, yeah!!!  As soon as I saw this, it hit the top of my wishlist.  Good thing it's not available until August!

why do they ruin 3 out of 4 watches, with an asymetric Power Reserve on the Dial :(

fixed it ;)

It's funny, I initially didn't love the power reserve, but after owning GS for a while, I like it more and more.

When I open my watchbox, it is like the GS meter is calling out to me to wear/wind, which then cultivates my relationship with the watch even more 😉

The best GS Diver I can remember, and I don't have any problem with the pr indicator, but I still don't love that hour hand.

Adjustable clasp!  🤯.  Finally!!

Also just heard it was 700 pieces only.  I hope that's not true.

Don’t think of it as a power reserve indicator. It’s a traditional Japanese fan beckoning you to wave it as you walk meditatively in the tranquil Haiku dial.
