Polished Enamel Dial and Numbers ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I never knew the brand, nor did I ever contemplate buying another micro brand quartz watch. But when I saw this watch, I fell in love! I guess love at first sight does exist. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฉ Lol

I've had a Wolf Point Delaware for 3 years. ย Its been a good watch. ย A couple months ago I gave it to one of my son's as he moved 2 blocks north of Wolf point & started wearing watches to his new job. I like the blue in yours.

ยท

huh, I've never heard of them. ย That's a great looking dial, I'll have to check the brand out.

It looks interesting. I went to their website and ran across this one that intrigued me even more.

From their website: "Set out to explore and challenge the boundaries of watchmaking, the first ever Wolfpoint timepiece to include two movements in a watch. A timepiece that fuses elements of mechanical and quartz movement. Each timepiece features Wolfpoint's signature enamel dial, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a polished stainless steel case."

I am really curious about the CB2. How did they create a quartz powered mechanical movement? Again from their website: "Movement Swiss Ronda Quartz & Wolfpoint Automatic." Really curious about this one.

I know, I saw that one too! I'm seriously trying to save up for a bigger purchase, like an Omega, Zenith or Tudor, but all these cool micro brands just keep taking my money!!! Lol... So, I'm drawing the line and I'm not buying any more watches (micro brands), no matter how cool they are. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, I have been trying to reduce the number of watches I buy and save up for my Longines Conquest V.H.P. ๐Ÿ˜„

I have encountered a slight problem with that though. I recently started dipping my toes in the vintage market, and it has been even more addicting than budget and entry level microbrands. ๐Ÿ˜… I have added over twenty vintage watches to my collection over the last few months.ย

I am now trying to get this new phase of my watch collecting addiction under control. ๐Ÿคฃ

By the way, I have seen some nice vintage Omega and Tudor watches for surprising prices on ebay. I ran across them while I was searching for a vintage Longines to add...he said like a drug dealer offering that first free hit.๐Ÿ˜†

First hit is on the house, huh??? Lol ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I love vintage too, but i feel like i got that under control, since I'm a big guy (6'2 - 300LB Rugby player), so I can't find many vintage watches that don't look like a coin glued to my wrist. Lol ๐Ÿ˜…

You know, I thought that about myself until I got a Timex Marlin hand wind reissue. I am 6'4" 240 lbs, so I am not exactly small, and I have 7.5" wrists. The dials fill the entire case so they wear larger.

This is my 1961 Hamilton Accumatic, and it is 33mm, but it wears more like a 37mm-38mm watch with that large dial.

Image

I think it looks pretty similar in size to this 37mm Seiko 5 SNKL23 on my wrist.

Wow, that Hamilton is a 33???? No way, it looks much bigger. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” I guess it's just a matter of finding the right watch.ย

I think it is more the fashion for the 1960s.

1966 Bulova Clipper, 33mm.

1966 Timex Marlin, 34mm.

1960s Elgin Sportsman, 34mm. See what I mean?

Also, each of these was less than $100, even the Hamilton. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Looks nice. How does it wear? Hope it's as comfortable as it looks.

It's super comfy, it feels sturdy and solid in the hand (stainless steel), but once it's on the wrist, you forget it's there.
