Which is the best fake?
About a year ago I bought someone’s collection of fake watches in an auction - just to play with. They do form a slight function in letting one see how they feel on the wrist.
Anyway - I’m having a clear out and thought it might be fun to get the community to rate which is the best of the 4 - before I take them outside and smash them with a hammer.

Love it! I love fakes for the purposes of long-term test driving. If one is going to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on something, it's hard to make that decision based on looking at that thing through a glass case, or putting it on-wrist for 2 minutes.

Ironically, I don’t even think the originals of these are all that good looking, apart from maybe the Daytona.
You can get the same "test run" from a variety of companies without buying branded fakes .
That being said I'd have to say that of the fakes pictured-they all suck and can't get smashed soon enough. Post pictures once you do.

Pagani makes homages. These are absolute fakes.
Fakes come in tiers starting with quartz plated brass going up to superclones. They all come out of Chinese factories that mostly converted from them into homages keeping everything but the copyright as the patents long since ran out on most of them. I would redial a superclone to sterile to convert it to a homage and therefore legal. Everything else is garbage.
The "gems" on the "Yacht Master" honestly look like old boiled sweets left in a jar from the era where polio was still trending. Either expired boiled sweets or plastic. Knowing myself, I would have ripped one out and put it in my mouth to check. Just clean your hammer afterwards!

Fakes fuel organized crime. Won't own one.
Out of all of them, I would choose the hammer.
