The release of the smaller Vacheron Constantin Overseas has me lusting after one. I’ve always lusted after the Nautilus and the Royal Oak.
So - simple question. Which of the VC Overseas, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, or Patek Philippe Nautilus would you rather have.
To focus the question on design only - let’s pretend that all three have the same value. And let’s base it off basic time and date steel models with blue dials.
VC always pulls me in for some reason. Patek and AP don't really do much for me *shrug*
Of the three, I chose the RO. If I was ever in a place to purchase any of them though, I'd sidestep in favor of the Aquanaut.

all the best people have Aquanauts
all the best people have Aquanauts
that is so damn perfect. I am left wanting haha (insert drool emoji)
The VC Overseas, especially in blue, is gorgeous. I don’t get the fascination with the APRO, Nautilus or Aquanaut.
That VC Overseas in blue is just a marvel, looks the part for the price. The AP gets a close second.
Never got the hype around the Nautilus, it just felt too underwhelming in person compared to the other two. The case style suits the Aquanaut more, it just has a more sporty vibes with Arabic numerals and feels functional.
Based on your criteria I chose the PP. but really I’d have the overseas Dualtime with the black dial out of the 3 (all variants considered).
I'm going with Patek for this poll followed by AP and then VC. All three are absolute stunners and would be amazing to own. For whatever reason I've always like Patek's cases the most.
The bracelet alone draws me towards the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. It is a gorgeous watch.
The perfect watch for me is the VC Overseas. I love the strap mechanism too , can swap out the bracelet to band and to strap in a jiffy … I adore the shade of blue dial also
AP
I've always thought the AP was the best looking of the three, but I've never had the opportunity to see one in person. I just think the textures, shapes, and colors work the best on that design. I love the fume on the teak decking styled dial, and the smooth rounding of the bezel and bracelet shapes.
The VC has always been the one that has spoke to me the most personally but of course I’d love any of them. I am surprised to see they are leading the poll at the time of me answering because although I liked them I thought they wouldn’t be the most popular
I voted A but my heart goes for D : girard perregaux Laureato
E : none of the above
if you are into this Genta-esque, integrated bracelet steel blue dial "sports" watch mood, but want something a bit more fancy than a Tissot PRX, you really don't need to spend Vacheron money.
