Grand Seiko Finishing Too Good For My Eyes
I’m a glasses wearer and - don’t laugh - but it occurred to me to do that thing where one takes off one’s glasses and brings a thing very near your eyes to see it properly and.. well.. turns out my Grand Seiko SBGX261 is finished way better than my eyes can normally see. That is to say bringing it so close I see all this precise detail I just can’t see through my glasses - like the perfectly straight brushing on the top of the indices - or the way the GS painted logo appears to float like an applied one.
I don’t have a point really. Just that Grand Seiko finishing is nice and I’m blind.

Wait till you get that 5x or 10x loupe! It should make many other things look totally rough hewn in comparison.
