High end calibres in budget watches
Yes i know most crunchers would be looking for the opposite ie. A high end luxury brand with the cheaper model to get value, but i would enjoy wearing an affordable watch, well i mean affordable for me such as a hamilton or victorinox etc..with a high grade movement. I have just found for 700 nzd, which isnt a lotta money😉, a new victorinox alliance swiss army ref 241871 with a eta 2892. Are those movements not 300 usd alone?

H & W Perrin is currently asking $312.36 for the ETA 2892-A2 movement.
Any older and even some current Swatch group watches with ETAs after several deep discounts.
There are a lot of brands that use Vaucher movements that are not household names like AP, but sell for steep discounts. Including Parmigiani. I know people will say $5k is not cheap, but that same movement has appeared in APs, RMs, etc.
I have also come across that watch in my little research for the best GADA watch out there. Was really surprised with that Victorinox. Looks cool. But the sideview is a little weird. ETA 2892 is great. I know they have upgraded from ETA 2824 if I remember correctly.
