What watch do you wear to work?

Used to wear a Timex Expedition to work every day as a carpenter and it Chugged along like a champ. Then I upgraded to a seiko 5, I love having this thing on my wrist whilst I’m working away and it seems so solid. I think I’d miss the weight now if I ever went back to a quartz watch. What do you all wear to work?

Varies each day… but today I have this on today…

I normally wear my Casioak GA 2100 every day to work. But I completely forgot to put it on this morning having slept in. Such a weird feeling not having a watch on. I genuinely panicked when I finally noticed sat at my desk.

Tag Heuer Twin Time

Have to wear Sport Coats and Suits everyday.

This goes with most of my work wear😁

I rotate through watches as my dress varies from fairly casual to business at work. Some days I need a dress watch for a suit, most days I am in a polo and slacks, so I can select from a variety of watches, and some days are jeans and t-shirt, when I go for some sort of tool watch or a G Shock.

I did just order the new Islander/Urban Gentry Rangemaster, and I am looking at that watch as a GADA watch, so that may become my default, as I really like the look of it.

Well, I work from my home office with my watch box just a few steps away. So, pretty much anything

I rotate between my Hamilton Khaki Field and two Omega Seamasters. I usually have the weekends for my Seiko 5 and Invicta divers for super casual wear.

That's a nice looking watch.  Do you know if the tritium tubes be replaced when they stop glowing, or do the hands and dial need to be replaced?

·

I have almost never taken off my Longines Spirit Zulu Time (green bezel) since I got it, though for Halloween and yesterday I did give my new Seiko SSK (orange dial) some wrist time.

·

I rotate watches and I'm not ashamed to admit that I often decide which one to strap on my wrist when considering the clothes I'll wear.

I did research that a long time ago and I believe it can be replaced but it can be costly so sometimes your better off getting a new watch…

I wear my whole collection to work. I don’t distinguish between different events (except maybe a wedding and garden work). I’m an engineer who mainly sits infront of a monitor. No contact with customers, only other engineers that do not care about watches 😅

Or just convince people dead tritium tubes are akin to tropic dials, then sell the watch for 9x what you paid.

I am self employed so I have a good idea what I will be doing the next day.  If manual labor is involved I normally reach for something from the quartz box.  If my day is going to consist of writing proposals, book keeping or trying to make the supply chain move forward, I enjoy wearing something nicer since it is less likely to get scuffed.

This one:

But heavy stainless steal heart lung machines and computer desks wreak havoc on the bracelets and taller watches (looking at you Prospex LX).  So they all suffer for it.

I think they prefer the gentle weekends when ocean kayaking, swimming, cycling and scrambling up mountains are the plan.

Usually one of these, unless I'm just doing front desk then maybe something just a bit nicer like my casioak or my Pro diver.

·

Typically working with a bunch of electronics and sound equipment, so I usually wear one of my casios.

Is my go to, I specifically chose this in celebration for my new job. Not that I'm a pilot.

Everyday is different

Is that the grey/blue Seiko 5 (srpg31)? I'm planning on this as my next watch, but a bit worried it's too blue. How do you find the color? It looks super, super nice (and super grey) in the photo!!!

its all black variant. looks a liytle bit grey because of the light condition 😃

I tend to wear my beater watch out when I go out, visit factory as it is durable and brushed surface allow me to enjoy wearing watch everywhere.

As for office day, I would normally take my Belluna Royal, or Sharp Edged for a ride. They have missed my wrist most days so I tend to wear these as many times as possible 😁😁

·

It’s a mix but I tend to heavily favor my Grand Seikos when I’m in the office.

I too work from home.  So some days I wear nothing at all.

Hmm, depends. Usually my first choice is my Longines Spirit.

I'm a cook so i need a water resistant one with good legibility. The rotating bezel is also very useful to time all the things and make sure I'm always on time.

A watch take all his sense in my work environment and the orient mako 2 on a rubber is taking the beating almost every day since the last two years. It wasn't to expensive making it for me the best of my humble collection for work!

I wear a mod that I built with the specs that I wanted. I've been on vacation this past week, and it hasn't seen any wrist time, so I wore it yesterday just so it wouldn't feel neglected. 😂

This is my daily work watch solid watch but thoughts on the red nato? I notice it catches the eye a lot
