The one thing I have done myself was remove the small plate separating the rotor from the case back. It looks like the rotor was getting caught on that for a time. It was stop and starting randomly before then. Now it’ll run, just doesn’t store energy in the spring
I got one and it just came in the mail today! The bracelet is good, not great, so I took that off and put it on a vintage leather racing strap. i Was worried as I have big wrists and typically don’t venture below 40mm, let alone 36mm, but I think it’s great!
Just for variety, I’ll say Timex. I just got a great field watch. Stainless steel, sapphire crystal, 100m WR, and yes, quartz, but for $150, that’s a great everyday beater!
