I do wind it Before wearing. Thank you. this is helpful. I just need something to talk to the next watchmaker about so they don’t brush me off. The last literally opened it up, looked inside, and told me that he doesn’t work on quartz watches smh

The one thing I have done myself was remove the small plate separating the rotor from the case back. It looks like the rotor was getting caught on that for a time. It was stop and starting randomly before then. Now it’ll run, just doesn’t store energy in the spring

My fiancé just got me one as a gift. I threw it on a royal blue Tropic strap and it sings. Great watch and brings some color into my fairly neutral-toned collection.

I got one and it just came in the mail today! The bracelet is good, not great, so I took that off and put it on a vintage leather racing strap. i Was worried as I have big wrists and typically don’t venture below 40mm, let alone 36mm, but I think it’s great!

Just for variety, I’ll say Timex. I just got a great field watch. Stainless steel, sapphire crystal, 100m WR, and yes, quartz, but for $150, that’s a great everyday beater!
